I am Ms. Allison Sforza. I teach Functional Academics in the STRIVE Learning Center Program. I have a BA in Elementary and Special Education  from La Salle Uiversity and a M.Ed in Learning Disabilities from William Paterson University. I have been teaching special education at the high school for over thirty years.  I work to foster a  love for reading in my classroom and enjoy taking my students on community based instruction trips to the  library.  I offer students lots  of choice in my classroom to help them feel ownership of their continued learning.  Outside of the classroom, I enjoy being on the lake or at the  beach.  I swim for fitness and  read for pleasure .
