Noreen Bredhold

Welcome!

 

My name is Noreen Bredhold and I teach English 3, English 3 Honors, AP English Language and Composition, Tomorrow's Teachers, Writer's Workshop, and Film Study.  I have been teaching for the past twenty years and I'm excited to continue working with the students of Ridgefield! 

 

I earned my B.A. in English and Spanish Education from Montclair State University and am currently obtaining my M.A. in English from Ohio University.  I hold a 6-12 teaching certificate and also serve as the National Honor Society advisor. I was honored to be selected as RMHS Governor's Educator of the Year for 2024-2025. 

 

As a teacher, I pride myself in establishing a rapport with my students and creating a warm, inviting classroom environment where each student is able to thrive. I am passionate about enkindling a love for reading in each of the students who step through my classroom doors. American Literature is my specialty and I love our district's junior English curriculum! 

 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and two cats. I love reading, Halloween, and all things education.
