Mary Mattessich

Welcome to my teacher page! I have been a proud member of Ridgefield Memorial High School since January 2001, where I’ve had the privilege of teaching and inspiring students in both mathematics and computer science. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of courses, including Precalculus, Honors Calculus, AP Calculus, Computer Science, and AP Computer Science Principles.

My goal is to help students build confidence, think critically, and develop problem-solving skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom. Whether we are tackling challenging calculus concepts or exploring the world of computer science, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and perseverance.

I look forward to working with my students each year and guiding them toward academic success and a deeper appreciation for mathematics and computer science.
