Hola! My name is Luz Martin. I have worked as World Language teacher at Ridgefield Memorial High School for 7 years and I am proud to be a member of the Ridgefield community!

I earned my B.A. from Montclair State University and I am a certified K-12 Spanish teacher. My classroom approach centers around creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to grow. Through authentic communication, cultural exploration, and collaborative learning, I aim to develop global citizens who embrace empathy, celebrate differences, and seek to understand perspectives beyond their own.

Outside the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy taking hikes and being out in nature.
