Welcome to my page!

 

I am the Transition Coordinator at the high school Learning Center. My job is to help students identify and explore careers and work environments. This starts with transition assessments in the early high school years and then opportunities to go out with job coaches to different worksites in the community once they are in the STRIVE 18-21 Program.

 

In addition, I provide families with resources they may need when their child is no longer in the school system. Whether that is employment, post-secondary education, recreational programs or for continued strengthening of daily living skills, meetings are held regularly to ensure families are provided with support and information. This is important so that our young adults have all the available resources to be fully involved in the community. Here is a link to transition resources.
